President, Albert Schinazi

Albert studied Architecture at Pratt Institute of Technology with a focus on Sustainable Community & Economic Development. Albert has over 30 years experience as a design / build residential contractor providing green design and consultation services.
Albert has comprehensive, first hand, knowledge of all construction trades, and implementation of best practices for building green, energy efficient healthy and durable buildings. Albert has consulted on environmental and energy efficient design, green materials and building methods for over 25 years.
Albert has served as Board Member and consultant with Alternative Technologies, Ecology House Of Indianapolis, and recently served as the State Of Indiana LEED For Homes Advocate and Dynamic Governance Chair for US Green Building Council Indiana Chapter.
Albert conducts Energy & Environmental Audits built on years of experience performing inspections and forensic study of residential construction details as well as performing energy retrofits using innovative approaches that lead to efficient and cost effective strategies

Albert teaches workshops on “Creating A Sustainable Home” educating Homeowners, Builders, Material Supplies, State & City staff, Manufacturers, and real estate professionals on Green Building Standards for designing and building new energy efficient and environmentally friendly homes that comply with LEED, Touchstone, Environments for Living, Energy Star, and ANSI / NAHB National Green Building Standards.
Albert combines his depth of knowledge of construction, expertise in organizational consulting, and comprehensive knowledge of sustainability standards, practices, materials and marketing to provide a broad selection of consultation services and support to businesses and organizations seeking to thrive in the emerging green markets and who are committed to adopting and implementing sustainable business practices.
Albert teaches workshops on “Sustainable Business Practices” at IUPUI and consults with a variety of for profit and non profit organizations interested in developing sustainability mission statements that include an understanding and strategy for implementing the Triple Bottom Line of, Equity, Ecology, and Economy (people, planet and profit). This work includes the Natural Step Process, Natural Capitalism, CSR (Corporate social Responsibility) and ISO 14000 guidelines for developing Environmental Management Systems.
